The Pleasantville softball team is back in action today, traveling for two games in Washington.

The day starts with a contest against West Burlington. The Falcons enter as the 14th-ranked team in Class 3A, and will provide a tough test for the Trojans. The final game of the day sees Pleasantville taking on the hosting Demons, a team that was previously ranked in Class 4A, but dropped out of the rankings due to a 3-7 start.

Pleasantville has won two games in a row, both in convincing fashion, and three of the last five overall. Action gets underway at 12:45 p.m. at Washington High School.
