The Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad had a tough time generating runs on Wednesday, dropping its game with Martensdale-St. Mary’s 10-2 in a class 1A Regional quarterfinal. The Saints got on the board in the first inning on an error that scored one run after that it was all Blue Devils. BrieAnna Remster took the loss to the Saints, she surrendered ten runs on nine hits over six innings, striking out one. Haley Godfrey led Melcher-Dallas with two hits in four at bats. Melcher-Dallas’s season ends at 15-6.
