The 2020 Marion County Fair begins today. In June it was announced that all entertainment has been postponed until 2021. The fair is proceeding with the livestock portion of the fair as planned, however. They are also offering a “show and go” option to any exhibitor that chooses as a way to help keep people socially distant and safe. Guidelines and rules for the 2020 Marion County Fair: 

 

There will be camping at the fairgrounds as usual.

 

There will be no concession stand.

 

Spectators will be allowed at the livestock shows, but Social Distancing of staying 6 feet apart from others is recommended.

 

Gatherings on all parts of the grounds should be limited to less than 10 people in a group.

 

There will be hand sanitizer stations placed at entrances of the livestock barns.

 

Bathroom facilities will be cleaned multiple times throughout the day

 

There will be no Open Shows.
