A local playground project in Pella is gaining momentum ahead of construction in 2021.
Mark Wiskus with Wonder Spelen says the all-inclusive park, once completed in 2021, will ensure any child can play safely. The Wonder Spelen will be located at the Kiwanis Park off of North Main Street in Pella.
After a $15,000 donation from Leighton State Bank was recently announced and with two fundraisers at the poffertje stand in Pella, there have been several instances of the public supporting the project, according to Wiskus.
