When veterans are no longer safe to live alone at home, options are available. Medical Foster Homes are services provided by the VA to ensure that veterans can receive care that they need when it becomes difficult or impossible to provide for themselves. Lenae Kruse with the VA says that it is a great alternative option for senior veteran living arrangements, and is looking to grow the program in Marion County.

“I would love to grow the program. I think it’s a wonderful alternative option for veterans. I’m really looking to expand the program in the Knoxville area and surrounding areas.
