The month of August will have several opportunities for Warren County residents to learn more about and purchase solar power equipment through the Grow Solar Warren County Initiative.

Bill Howard with the Indianola Sustainability Committee tells KNIA News the Grow Solar Warren County Initiative is a program that will allow individual home and commercial property owners to access competitive prices for solar installations through the power of volume purchasing, as well as provide educational “Solar Power Hour” virtual seminars. Howard also said the Solar Power Hour educational webinars have a lot of great information in them, including listing out all the benefits and money saving opportunities of purchasing solar power equipment.
