The 4H and FFA competitions at this year’s Warren County Fair were a success, with nine shows held over five days. Organizer Jo Reynolds tells KNIA News being able to provide the opportunities for the kids who worked hard all year to get to this point was well worth it.
“There were many kids who were heartfelt and sincere seeing the organizers and board of directors on the grounds and thank us for doing that, and that made us feel good for doing what we do. As far as the auction goes, we couldn’t have asked for more community support and the generosity given by those buyers. It was truly amazing, and hopefully the exhibitors will have enough money left to start a new project next year.”
Reynolds also said this year was unique in the fact that it made the shows change formats and procedures to make things more streamlined, which is something the fair will probably continue moving forward.
