Hospitalist Don Nguyen, MD, has joined Pella Regional Health Center’s medical staff. A hospitalist is a physician dedicated to hospital medicine. Unlike other physicians, hospitalists do not maintain an office practice. Their primary role is to treat patients inside the hospital. Dr. Nguyen attended University of California where he earned his undergraduate degree. He went on to earn his medical degree at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and recently finished his residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
