The second-best moment of the past school year for PCM Athletics was a dominant win on the basketball court for the Mustang girls. On December 9th, PCM played host to local foe Pella Christian in non-conference action, as heard live on 92.1 KRLS.

PCM raced out to a 19-10 lead after the first quarter, and eventually extended the lead to 33-21 by halftime. It was an even third quarter, but the Mustangs had statistically their best quarter of the season on defense, holding the Eagles scoreless the entire fourth quarter for a 55-31 win. Senior Regan Freland, once again, dominated on the floor.

Freland dropped 20 points in the win, while Lilli Baird chipped in 13. The Mustangs turned it over just nine times the entire game. PCM went on to finish the season with a 10-13 record, graduating four seniors.
