Webb Shadle Memorial Library in Pleasantville has announced new hours and safety measures as part of its efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The library will now be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

A maximum of 10 people will be allowed in the building at a time, and children ages 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Hand sanitizer is available at the front door, and is recommended for use before browsing. The library asks that people maintain six feet of social distance, and suggests the use of masks. Three computers are available for use, and the library continues to offer curbside book checkout.
