The My Place Hotels 360 Knoxville Nationals begin today at the Knoxville Raceway. While the event is branded differently than in years past due to COVID-19, there will still be six nights of racing over the next two weekends in place of the normal Knoxville Nationals.
Over 100 sprint cars have been entered into this weekend’s races, which are widely regarded as the biggest event of the year in the 360 series. The top finisher in Saturday’s 360 Nationals Championship race will receive the top prize of $15,000.
Fan attendance at this weekend’s races will be limited to 7,000 people. All seats will be general admission. Social distancing between groups is encouraged.
95.3 and 94.3 KNIA will air live coverage of each race over the next two weekends. Interviews with racers and officials will air on Live Trackside, which begins at 5:00 p.m. each race night. Race Nights Live starts at 7:00 p.m., with live racing coverage through the final checkered flag of the night. The KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio will be on site playing music, and staff will provide updates throughout the day on events and activities at the raceway.
