The first week of Iowa high school fall sports practices is nearly complete, and schools all across the state have crafted unique plans for returning to activities. PCM Activities Director Greg Bonnett reminds all sports fans that the situation remains fluid, and plans are always subject to change.
“It’s not all set in stone. Things are going to change, and people are still working on plans. And every once in a while, they’ll have a really good idea they didn’t think of before that can be a game changer and can keep people safer. So be patient, protect yourself. That being said, everyone just be safe, do what’s best, but get out there and have some fun.”
PCM is currently not requiring, but recommending, that spectators wear masks to sporting events. The first event of the school year is August 25th, a volleyball tournament at Newton.
