The Twin Cedars Football Squad will look a little different this season. The Sabers are changing the offense and defense in hopes of sparking a little more confidence and simplifying things for the players. Coach Cam Parker tells KRLS Sports he made this change to play to their strengths and to infuse some confidence in the team.

Parker:
“As a coaching staff we decided to rejuvenate the team, we didn’t have the kind of season that we wanted last year. We’re just giving the boys something different, let them try something new and hopefully bring some excitement.”

The Sabers will go to a rushing attack this season, simplifying the blocking schemes, and on defense the change will be along the front line, with a five man line and more of a zone defense. Twin Cedars will host Montezuma in week one on August 28th.
