The Pella Christian football team has expectations of a deep postseason run this fall, but if they are to have a shot at getting to Cedar Falls and the UNI Dome, they will need to find a solution at the starting quarterback position.

With several returning playmakers and a veteran offensive line with size and strength, the key will be who is helming the normally explosive Eagles offense. All-State level players have been in the role for Pella Christian since 2014, with David Kacmarynski, Hayden Vroom, and Dan Jungling all making the position a strength.

Head Coach Rich Kacmarynski says throughout camp and preseason practice, four names have emerged as possible options at the important position, including junior Bennett Spronk and sophomores Issac Kacmarynski, Beau Bush, and Peyton Ritzert, all of whom bring certain strengths to the role.

Pella Christian travels to Newton Friday for a scrimmage, before opening the 2020 season at Des Moines Christian on August 28th. Hear the Eagles live on 92.1 KRLS and the KRLS2 stream this fall.
