The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. The board tabled a discussion on an amended city-county planning and zoning 28E agreement for the City of Pella extraterritorial area, allowing for more time to explore options on the project.
The board received a secondary road department update from Engineer Tyler Christian, discussed Board of Supervisor lobbying priorities, including better representation at the state level, and discussed property taxes.
The board received the Marion County Treasurer fiscal year 2019/2020 annual report, discussed ATV/UTV regulations for the county, including speed limits and allowable use on public property, and approved a resolution on the Seeds of Hope Foundation Ranger Ride and Poker Run on Sunday, September 13th.
The next Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting will be Tuesday, September 8th at 9:00 a.m.
