The PCM volleyball team is off to a 2-2 start to the season following Tuesday’s tournament in Newton. It’s a breath of fresh air for a team that won just five games a year ago. The Mustangs have a multitude of returning players, nearly all of whom saw significant varsity action last year. Senior Celeste Wagaman says that she expects the team to come together this year in ways unlike the past, and says it will be very beneficial.
“Team chemistry, we’ve struggled with that the last couple years, just having so much diversity. I think this year with our large group of seniors, it’s really going to come together, and it’s going to be good for us.”
PCM is back in action Saturday at a tournament at West Marshall.
