After going 5-1 in the first two nights of competition, the Knoxville Volleyball Squad gets back in the gym to work on some things that need refinement before the Panthers are back in action on Monday. Knoxville has mowed down PCM, Newton, Saydel, Des Moines Hoover and Carlisle, while the only loss was the season opener Monday night to Oskaloosa. Coach Mollie Keitges is already liking this team and is looking forward to seeing how far the girls can progress by the end of the season.

Keitges:
“They’re a really fun group and I’m excited to coach them. I think we have a ton of potential for growth and I’m excited to see them in a few weeks and I think they will look pretty good in a few weeks.”

The Panthers next match is Monday night at Albia as they look to defend their three consecutive South Central Conference titles.
