pleasantville-3

Two games into the season, and the Trojans are still left without a win after they fell to Des Moines Christian 3-0 (25-6, 25-20, 25-6) Thursday night.

Despite the lack of celebrations, head coach Joel Allman was pleased to see his team leave it all on the court with players like Breanna Benge, Kristen Roe, and Adi Adrion leading the way. The main thing Allman preaches to his girls is consistency.

“I felt like in both games, we were able to get better, even though the scorers at Des Moines Christian don’t show it. For us to get to 20 against them was I think a good sign that we have potential to play some good volleyball. We just have to do it more consistently now. I think that’s the key for us– is just trying to do the right things consistently.”

Pleasantville has a chance to get back to .500 this Tuesday at home as they host both Madrid and Grand View Christian in a triangular event.
