The Knoxville Volleyball Squad began defense of its three consecutive South Central Conference titles with a three sets to none sweep of Albia on Monday night winning the sets 25-9, 25-11, and 25-18. The Panthers were again solid behind the serve line as Amy Sullivan did not miss a serve in 16 attempts with three aces, Emma Dunkin was also 16/16 with three aces. Brittany Bacorn put down 14 kills and Marley McKay had 30 assists. Knoxville goes to 6-1 on the season and begins conference play at 1-0. The Panthers are right back at it tonight on the road against Chariton.
