A social media post shared by Knoxville students has resulted in disciplinary action. The post showed a white male student in apparent black-face, along with Black Lives Matter lettering. Superintendent Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News “We acted quickly on Tuesday when we learned about the post and appropriate discipline was enacted immediately, per district protocol. Because it’s a student matter, we cannot comment further.”
