Indianola Parks and Rec are renewing their Tunes and Treats concerts this fall, hosting events that were originally scheduled for this spring but cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Becky Lane with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News the goal of the Tunes and Treats series is to give older residents who may not get out to see music much a chance to attend a concert, and hosting a daytime concert every couple of months is a fun way to go about it. The performances begin next Friday with Gina Gedler and Ben Hagen from 2-3pm. Limited seating will be available, or concert goers can bring a lawn chair. Social distancing will be practiced, and a mask is recommended.
