The Knoxville Police Department reminds residents that it is selling t-shirts, with proceeds going toward the Knoxville Police Department Freedom 5K Scholarship fund. Chief Aaron Fuller says that after the 5K was cancelled earlier this year, the department partnered with Raemaker’s to make sure they could still award a scholarship.
“The proceeds from this t-shirt online store is going to go towards the Knoxville Police Department Freedom 5K Scholarship fund. As many of you know, Covid has ruined everything this year, including our 5K. But Raemakers has been gracious enough to partner with us to help us get those funds that we’re going to need later this school year so we can still continue to give out a scholarship to a Knoxville High School graduate who is interested in going into law enforcement.”
The deadline to order these shirts is today. To view the design and to place an order, click here.
