The PCM volleyball team traveled to Conrad Saturday to take part in the BCLUW tournament. The Mustangs could not find their stride, going 0-5 on the day.
In the first match of the day, the Mustangs took on the hosting Comets, falling 2-0, scores of 21-18 and 21-18.
Things did not get much better in PCM’s match against Hudson, falling by set scores of 21-17 and 21-7.
PCM’s only set win of the day came in the third match against South Tama. The Mustangs took the first set by a 21-19 count, but lost the following two sets 25-23 and 15-9.
The fourth match of the day pitted the Mustangs against former conference foe North Polk. PCM fell by set scores of 21-7 and 21-18.
The final match of the day saw PCM take on Benton Community. The Bobcats won both sets in identical fashion, 21-16 and 21-16.
PCM falls to 5-11 on the season, and is back in action Tuesday at home against Greene County.
