Marion County has its first state designated outbreak in a long term care facility. According to state data, West Ridge Specialty Care in Knoxville has seven positive cases of COVID-19. Marion County has 14 new cases as of Wednesday, up to 577 total cases, with 497 recoveries. Marion County also has an additional death listed as of this morning–the 3rd COVID-19 related death in the county. It is not associated with the Long Term Care Outbreak, and more details will be released by Marion County Public Health once confirmed.
