The Pella Professional and Business Women’s Forum’s (PPBWF) next program will feature guest speaker Kim Dorn from Marion County Public Health.

Dorn will be addressing COVID-19 related topics from her unique perspective in public health. Kim has been the director of Marion County Public Health since April 1999. Prior to that, she worked as director of the private non-profit agency Mahaska County Homemaker Health Aide Service. She has been the President of the Iowa Association of Home Care and the Iowa Public Health Association.

The September forum will be held Thursday, September 17th at Central College in the Graham Conference Center – Graham 1 from noon to 1:00 p.m. Lunch is provided in the $12.00 guest fee. Guests are encouraged to join with an annual membership if they desire: Face masks or face shields are required in Central College campus buildings.

The Pella Professional and Business Women’s Forum is a networking and professional development organization for women in Pella and the surrounding area. Membership is open to career-oriented and business women of all ages who are interested in enhancing their personal and professional life and forming valuable connections with other women in the community.
