The Pleasantville City Council met in regular session Tuesday. The council approved a sewer adjustment for 110 E Monroe Street. They approved Beggar’s Night for Saturday, October 31st. The council approved the installation of LED lighting in city buildings, and approved a Woodruff Pay Application for $5,000.

The council approved Country Trash as a new garbage collection vendor. They rejected a pay application for Iowa Civil Contracting, approved the annual Street Finance Report, approved a Board of Adjustments proposal for rebuilding the Pleasantville Christian Church, and tabled a discussion on a tax abatement for 300 S Business Highway 5.

The next Pleasantville City Council meeting will be October 20th at 5:30 p.m.
