The Pella Public Library is partnering with Leighton State Bank to encourage kids who were staying away from the library due to fines to continue to engage in literacy. Nicole Goodenow with Leighton State Bank says students can read away their fines virtually with Youth Services Librarian Katie Dreyer this month. Dreyer says she’s excited to read with kids on Zoom and help them stay involved in reading. Spots remain open for kids to read with Katie, and registration can be done online at the City of Pella website by scrolling down to the library calendar on the main page.
