After blowing over Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on Tuesday night, the Knoxville Volleyball Squad sets its sights on another Saturday meet. The Panthers head to Pella Christian to face the host Eagles, Bondurant-Farrar, Grandview Christian, and South Central Conference foe Albia. The Panthers are wanting to get better at the Saturday matches and nearly won at Bondurant last week with a 4-1 record. Coach Mollie Keitges tells KRLS Sports one big reason for the success early on is the leadership of the six seniors.

Keitges:
“Even with the six rotation freshman in the line up and sprinkle in some sophomores and juniors into the rotation, but with those six seniors we really expected them to really handle a lot of tough times and they have done that this year.”

The Panthers already have victories over Bondurant-Farrar and Abia this season. Knoxville will start Saturday off against Pella Christian bright and early at 8:30am.
