The Melcher-Dallas Fire Department is hosting its annual Fire Prevention Supper and Parade on Sunday, October 4th. Chief Curt Seddon tells KNIA/KRLS News this year, the supper will be served carry-out style. The menu consists of chili, potato soup, beefburgers, hot dogs and cinnamon rolls, and free-will donations will be accepted. Proceeds will go towards the department’s scholarship, which is given to a graduating senior at Melcher-Dallas Schools. Serving runs from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The lighted parade will start at dark, with all of the department’s vehicles driving around town with their emergency lights on. More information can be found on this story here.
