Today is the final day of National Small Business Week, as declared by the US Small Business Administration. National Small Business Week has celebrated our nation’s critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. Indianola Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Brenda Easter tells KNIA News by shopping local you are helping create jobs, improve roads, advance schools, build parks, grow businesses and make Indianola a better place to live, work and play. Easter also said during this time, it can be a little more difficult to shop local, so consider purchasing a gift card online, or ask for a pickup or delivery arrangement.
