He’s one of the all-Time leading kickers in Iowa football history. Nathan De Bruin is a three-time All-State kicker who is in Iowa’s football record books for his three seasons adding points for one of the greatest offensive runs in Class 1A football. De Bruin’s 221 points scored are 6th most all-time by kickers, regardless of class, and his 176 successful point after attempts also ranks as 6th best.
De Bruin kicked the game winning field goal against Regina during the 2018 regular season, and was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals, recovered the early fumble on the opening kickoff, had an interception on defense, and racked up six catches for 64 yards on offense in the win over Bellevue to get the Eagles to their second stay in Cedar Falls at the Dome.
