After losing their opening match to the host Eagles, the Knoxville volleyball team bounced back with three wins against the rest of the field in the Pella Christian tournament. The No. 15 in 3A Panthers edged out the 13th in 4A Bondurant-Farrar Lady Jays 2-1 (20-22, 21-13, 15-11), Grand View Christian 2-1 (21-18, 21-23, 15-9), and sweeping conference foe Albia (21-12, 21-11).

Freshman Brittany Bacorn finished with 31 kills over the four matches and six total blocks, senior Tara Uitermarkt had nine total blocks, and senior setter Marley McKay averaged 6.7 assists per set.

The 16-3 Panthers are back in the South Central Conference Tuesday at home when they host Clarke.
