Marion County Public Health reported two additional deaths related to COVID-19 today. The individuals were in the age range of 41-60 and 61-80 years old. There are nine total fatalities related to the virus.
Four new positive cases of COVID-19 were confirmed by Marion County Public Health. There are 33 active cases and 761 recoveries. The two-week average positive test rate is at 7.6% and there are five county residents hospitalized with the virus.
State wide, an additional 1,198 cases have been confirmed. For the first time since June, 100 Iowa citizens are in intensive care units and 390 total are hospitalized with COVID-19.
