It was a historic day on offense as the Simpson Storm football team made their way to the Rock Bowl in Dubuque to take on the Duhawks, rushing for 351 yards and adding 246 through the air. The Storm led 14-13 at the end of the first, then 21-13 at halftime. It was in the third quarter where the Storm started to impose their will on the ground, and eventually ran 101 plays for a school record to build a 38-19 lead. Loras came back with a pair of 4th quarter touchdowns, but the Storm defense held firm for a 38-33 victory. Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson had the call, relive the action this Saturday at 1pm on KNIA.
