The Pleasantville High School dance team is helping to kick off the partnership between the Iowa State Dance Team Association and Susan G. Komen with a “More than Pink Walk” today. It begins at 9:00 a.m. and is to honor Pleasantville Dance Team founder and former coach Lois Turnage, as well as anyone in the community who has been affected by breast cancer.

Everyone is welcome to walk for a cure, and no registration is required. Instead, the dance team is accepting donations to help achieve their fundraising goal.

After the walk, a dance showcase will be held at the football field at 10:00, featuring the spring show dancers and the Pleasantville High School Dance Team.
