The Indianola City Council has approved the Notice of Intent to Appoint a Mayor at their meeting Monday evening, and given direction to city staff to begin taking applications for the position. Listed with the application is the presentation the city provided to the city council regarding the process of appointing a mayor, the city code of ordinances, city policies, the city comprehensive and strategic plan, and the city budget.
