Marion County Bank recently donated $32,525.64 to local schools through the Report Card Debit Card Rewards Program. For every purchase a debit card user enrolled in this program makes, Marion County Bank makes a donation to the school of the user’s choice.

With 293 cards supporting Knoxville Schools, the district received $1,621.80. Pella Community Schools received $18,419.82 with the support of 2,430 debit card users. Pella Christian Grade School received $4,205.13 from 547 debit card users. Pella Christian High School’s 703 debit card users donated $5,498.68. Melcher-Dallas, a new member of this program, received $135.36 from 37 supporters.

To date, the program has donated a total of $226,230.63 since it launched in 2007. Information on how to sign up for this program can be found here.

Marion County Bank’s Steve Kraayenbrink presented Pella Community School’s check to Assistant Principal Derek Schulte and Business Manager Mary Bogaard.
Pella Christian High’s Principal Greg Wojczynski was presented with this year’s donation.
With 37 Marion County Bank debit cards signed up to support Melcher-Dallas Community Schools, a donation was presented for $135.36 by Marion County Bank’s Ron Zantingh and David Hoke to the Melcher-Dallas Elementary Principal, John Suntken.
