The PCM cross country team traveled to Saydel High School in Des Moines Thursday evening for its final regular season meet. It was a preview of Monday’s conference meet, which will take place at the same location. The Mustang girls finished fourth with a score of 91.

Individually, sophomore Paige Steenhoek was the top PCM finisher, placing sixth in a time of 21:33. Freshman Tiffani Koonce was 15th with a time of 22:31.

The Mustang boys finished seventh with a score of 194. Senior Beau Webb was the first Mustang to cross the finish line, placing 18th in a time of 19:06. Sophomore Caden Bouwkamp was 39th with a time of 20:22.

Twin Cedars runner Cheyenne Bruns was the lone runner for the Sabers and she finished 17th.

PCM will be back in action Monday for the Heart of Iowa Conference Meet, hosted by Saydel.
