The Marion County Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. The board approved a rezoning request for a portion of property along County Highway T17 from Agricultural to Ag Residential.

The board set October 27th as the date for a public hearing on the authorization of a loan agreement and issuance of general obligation capital loan notes of Marion County, and providing for publication of notice thereof. They received a presentation from Rick Hurt of South Central Iowa Solid Waste Agency regarding the VA Campus generator. No action was taken. They also passed a resolution to approve an Iowa DOT agreement for federal aid swap funding for a bridge replacement on Story Drive.

The next Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting will be October 27th at 9:00 a.m.
