The Indianola City Council meets in regular and in a special study session Monday. The council will read a proclamation declaring October as Community Planning Month, consider resolutions regarding the Urban Renewal Plan, hold a public hearing on the contract for the Iowa Avenue Paving Plan, and consider a resolution amending the city policy on the snow and ice removal manual. The council will also discuss the site plan for Vice Construction, and the purchase of an aerial apparatus for the Indianola Fire Department.

The council will also hold a study session regarding the five-year capital improvement plan after the regular meeting concludes. The meeting begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall, and will be broadcast live via YouTube and Zoom.
