All coaches know experience is a major factor to success, and the Trojans will have a whopping 16 of their own heading out as their high school football careers come to a close. They have 45 players listed on their roster, making seniors account for over 35 percent of the squad.

It all starts with their three year starter at quarterback, Caylor Clark. Under his reign under center, the Trojans improved from 3-6 to 5-4 to 5-3 in those three seasons.

Among other major contributors are leading receiver and stud cornerback Colby Sandholdt, who is almost unarguably their best defensive player. Leading rusher Isaac Mann is also on the way out and his offensive production will be missed for a team that runs the ball nearly triple as much as they pass. They will also have to find new guys for four of the five offensive line slots.

Head Coach Mack Jorth has said that this class of seniors has some of the hardest workers and strongest leaders in some time, so replacing such a large amount of the roster could result in some growing pains in 2021.

Check back tomorrow for a rundown of the Trojans’ final statistics from this year.
