Multiple political events will take place in Knoxville over the next several days.

The Iowa Democratic Party Early Vote Express bus will make a stop in Knoxville today. This tour makes stops at college campuses, libraries, and other satellite voting locations throughout the state to distribute voter education materials, and is aimed at encouraging voters to vote for Democratic candidates.

The Knoxville event will take place behind Mr. C’s at the old Pamida parking lot at 5:00 p.m.

The Marion County Republican Central Committee will host “Trump n’ Treat” Saturday at the Marion County Republicans Headquarters. Participants will receive a flag and treats. Costumes are welcomed. The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and participants are encouraged to stop by the Optimist Club’s Trunk n’ Treat at Auld Park afterwards from 1:00 until 2:30.
