Integrative Counseling Solutions is offering a School Staff Brain Health Program. This is to help school employees deal with the stress of life during the current pandemic. Therapist Cheryl Garland says that a grant received from the Cross Mental Health Region has allowed the clinic to offer the program for free, and that they will provide a variety of services in three sessions.
“This program will involve three mental health wellness coaching sessions. Our recipients will work on resilience building, stress management, coping and relaxation skills, and mindfulness to provide support and help them deal with life during the pandemic. In addition to that, they may also have two therapy sessions with a licensed therapist for free. And if they wish to continue, they can use their health insurance, as anyone would. But this program is entirely free and entirely funded from the Cross Mental Health Region with dollars from the Cares Act.”
This program runs through December 21st. A school ID number is required when calling to set up the first appointment. More information is available on an upcoming In Depth.
