While the Knoxville Football Squad did not have the season it wanted, one Panther player will have his name in the record books. Mike Hudson became the career receptions leader as he caught a school record 66 passes.
Hudson shattered the school record of 44 set back in 1964 by Mike Elliott. Hudson had 27 receptions of 385 yards and four touchdowns this season. For his career Hudson caught 66 passes for 818 yards and ten touchdowns.
