Athletes from south central Iowa are heading to the state girls swimming meet.

The students are all Knoxville Panthers who compete with Indianola as part of a sharing agreement.

Four swimmers from Pella will compete at the 2020 state meet.

On Saturday at the district meet, the 400 yard freestyle relay of Maylei Ruggles, Natalie Boll, Emma Curry, and Hannah Nedder will come in as the 28th seed after a qualifying time of 3:52.81.
