While Norah Pearson got most of the headlines for the Knoxville Girls Cross Country Squad, the rest of the runners were able to put together solid seasons and improve on their times throughout the year. Coach Mikayla Splavec tells KRLS Sports it was good to see all of the runners complete most of their goals and look forward to steady improvement for next season.
Splavec:
“All of our girls improved from the start of the season to the end of the season, and that’s all we can ask for. They ran really well, and they hit some big goals for the season and we’re already excited for next season.”
Pearson finished 17th at the State Meet two weeks ago, and Splavec sees the girls making a commitment for next year.
