The Twin Cedars Football Squad revamped its offense this fall to allow for a more wide open passing game. The Sabers passed for 1,144 yards in 2020. Coach Cam Parker tells KRLS Sports he felt his team was built for a passing game more than a running game this season.

Parker:
“That’s just not what we were built for this year with the personnel this year and we wanted to try something different to spread it out. We wanted to go around 60/40 passing, but it actually came out to about 80/20. I think the kids did enjoy the air raid offense but it does lead to mistakes and interceptions but I think they did enjoy it.”

The leading receiver was Dylan Meyers, who hauled in 32 passes for 559 yards and seven touchdowns. Twin Cedars went 0-6 this season, losing to Melcher-Dallas in the final week after opting out of the eight-man playoffs.
