The Knoxville City Council met in regular session Monday. They approved a resolution to declare necessity and establish an urban renewal plan for the Park Lane Urban Renewal Area and an offer to buy real estate from Competine Creek LLC and Steven Everly for a cost of $48,535.

They also approved the purchase of a police department canine from Tree Town LLC for $12,500. The dog’s name is Roscoe, and will be handled by Officer Skyler Verros.

The next Knoxville City Council meeting will be Monday, December 7th at 6:15 p.m.
