The start to the winter sports competition season for Pella Christian is delayed due to the state football playoffs. The Eagles girls basketball team was set to head to Van Meter this Friday to kick off the 2020-21 winter schedule, however, that varsity game is now added to a planned boys contest on Saturday, February 6th, which will now be a doubleheader with 9th grade and JV contests also scheduled. Instead, the Pella Christian girls will open winter at Montezuma on Tuesday, November 24th. The first Eagles boys-girls basketball doubleheader on 92.1 KRLS will take place on Tuesday, December 1st, when they host non-conference foe Albia.
