The Pleasantville girls basketball team suffered their second consecutive loss of the season, falling to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, 50-34. This was the first time the Trojans lost to the Rockets since November 2017.
Breanna Benge led the way for Pleasantville with 12 points. Rachel Harvey finished second on the team with 11. This game was also the fourth time in the matchup between these two teams that the game was decided by double figures.
Pleasantville Head Coach Jeff Cook tells KNIA Sports that his team did not play well on either end of the floor. He also stated that the team looked exhausted and a break may be what they need.
